This kaftan is inspired by one from the 1970s, an era in which kaftans were widely popular in the United States. We imitated the silhouette and the tie-front neckline in a pattern reproduced from midcentury yardage. The fabric is slightly sheer and printed with a pattern of blue seaweed and orange fish.
